Motivating One....
Honouring Greatness.......
"Once upon a time, there lived a boy,
who thought his shadow wasn't a shadow but a toy,
he thought he could give his shadow a chase,
so he followed it around and started a race
he would ran fast, but his shadow was faster
like he was the slave and the shadow his master
many years and a day passed quietly away
but the shadow was out of reach, december or may
one day he stopped running and looked back at life
and found he had overtaken his troubles and strife
catching up with his shadow was still on his mind
but he had left everyone else far far behind....

Power of Perseverance....
Today this word "Perseverance" was playing on my mind....may be the office routines making me think .. whenever i stumble in to uncertainity, mind automatically flies and catch this magic word....so many occasions i have seen .....probably i am so obsessed with this word.
sometime back in the year 1996 or 1997, one advertisement used to run in the newspapers in big columns....i still remember the words and written those words in my diary for daily reading...whenever i look the words and read it for my heart and soul, it really brings back all cherished memories of my best periods and there i am back to normal....it is very essence of my continuation with so much energy and enthusiam....let me share today
" There was, in a court yard, an old cement wall,
thunder, lightning, nothing could touch it at all
it was cold and sturdy and topped with bits of glass
it defied age, time or reason, it let nobody pass
one day through a tiny crack there emerged
a tiny green stem with a leaf still unfurled
it has no soil to hold on to, no water at all
it had nothing in common with the old grey wall
but slowly the tiny green stem grew roots
and the stem branched out in to multiple shoots
soon a crack appeared in the unshakeable wall "

Thirukkural...
Today is nostalgia day...i was just remembering my school days and it was full of memories..
the disclipine of christianity, the school playground, the teachers, the richness of tamil language and its literature...
I rate thirukkural as the best one among the vast repertoire of tamil literature...it offered many persons food for their imagination...you can learn many things from it....if one masters in understanding the thirukkural, then he can master his own life....(probably the secret behind the tamilians success all over the world) ...it is really a researcher's delight ....
Thirukkural is the masterpiece of Tamil literature with the highest and purest expressions of human thought. It is written in the form of couplets (two line poems) expounding various aspects of life. It contains 1330 couplets, divided into 133 chapters of 10 couplets each.
Thirukkural has three major parts. The first part deals with Aram (Virtue), the moral value of human life. It has 38 chapters. The second part is on Porul (Wealth), the socio economic values of men in a civilized society. It has 70 chapters. The third part is on Kamam or Inbam (Love), the psychological values of life. It has 25 chapters.
Thirukkural was written by Thiruvalluvar, who is believed to have born 30 years before Jesus Christ. The Tamil Calendar is dated from that period and referred as Thiruvalluvar Aandu (Year). One can find Thiruvalluvar as a moral philosopher, political scientist and master of public administration in the first two parts of Thirukkural and a creative artist in the third part, depicting the fascinating aspects of lovers.
Thirukkural's immortality and universality are unquestionable. Its ethics and values are applicable to all religions, countries and time. It has been translated in over 60 languages of the world.
I will try to post some of the important kurals which will help one in life....

Quotations to heal by....
"QUOTATIONS TO HEAL BY: YOU'RE THE ONE
"If you want to move to a higher level of life, you have to be willing to let go of some of your old ways of thinking and being and adopt new ones." -- T. Harv Eker
"The greater part of human pain is unnecessary. It is self-created as long as the unobserved mind runs your life." -- Eckhart Tolle
"You either create or allow everything that happens to you."-- Jack Canfield

People's Behaviour...
sometimes i am unable to understand the behaviour of humans...however you try ...it still remains such a mystery....you try transactional analysis (TA), psychology studies...one cannot just understand the other side..
The inability or failure hits you so hard especially in a situation when relatives or close friends are involved...however efforts you make to built life for good future...everything goes in vain...
It is really puzzling besides hurting (on hurt i will post later) when People show such rude and arrogance....The great Thiruvalluvar has written many many centuries ago...that all the sins of the world has pardon but there is no pardon for the people who forgets and not having any gratitude...
the word "gratitude" is very important in one's life....the power of gratitude is very mighty and simple gratitude alone can take the people to great heights in life.....All types of arrogance is pardonable except money arrogance...when you show arrogance of money....it is just you are trying to satisfy your ego and jealousy and nothing else...but it is slowly becoming a way of living in style and catching up the young generation....
Today i was very much disturbed with all this behavioural patterns of people...because this is nothing but a path of self destruction.......i am thinking where do i stand ...but fortunately i am always in the company of good people and god grace...
one of my friend Mr.Ravishankar from Zambia has sent such a nice mail ....which really gave a fitting answer to all my thoughts...the message is given below..
***Be Humble
-C.B.Satpathy
God sees things by the whole. Man sees things by parts. God sees happenings over the three periods of time. Man sees events only in the present, isolated from the past and the future. That is why man sees discord here God sees harmony. Man sees lack of logic where God finds perfect logic. Put yourself in the place of God. Feel you are God. Feel that the entire universe is your creation and operates by your will. At once you will feel tremendous peace and strength surging within you. You say others insult you without reason, injure you without cause. Even if that is true, do not get agitated. Face the situation calmly. You will find that calmness can be a powerful weapon to overcome difficult situations. Shut your eyes to insults. Let others think what they like, say what they like. This is a world of ignorant people. You be wise. Be humble before everybody. Be humble in every situation. This will be possible if you give up the idea of inferiority and superiority and learn to see God in everybody and everything "God wills it so. So be it.": Say that to yourself and keep quiet in the face of insults. Be unruffled. If you put up with insults, you will grow in humility and purity. You will grow spiritually rich. ***
Finally i remember the words of saibaba....
""Without the sanction of the Lord, man cannot achieve anything in the world. The Divine is the basis for everything. Man, however, is filled with conceit that he is the one who is doing everything. This pride is the cause of his ruin. It is the cause of his frustration and disappointment. Man today is basing his life on nature and hence forgetting God. This is a grievous mistake. You must place your faith in God, the Creator of the universe, and then enjoy what nature provides. Faith in God is the primary requisite for man.""
Amen
